Emergencies can strike at any moment, whether they be as simple as a snowstorm or as serious as 9/11 or what happened to New Orleans. Paulsboro Public Schools have invested a great deal of time and effort into being ready; from our monthly fire drills to what is called "Shelter in Place". We take great pride in keeping our students as safe as they can possibly be.
What about you and your family? Do you have a fire evacuation plan for your home? Do your children know what to do if they come home to an empty house? Please consider creating plans at home in case of these and other emergencies.
This web site is dedicated to helping you plan and prepare. Listed are federal, state, county and local resources you can use now and when that emergency does come. Take advantage of the Personal & Family Emergency Preparedness form that is available to you through the "Create Your Plan" link on the upper right hand side of this page.
Two of the most important things you can do are to make certain your child's school has up-to-date emergency contact information, and to periodically review with your child alternative arrangements you have made in case an emergency prevents you from being able to be at home. Share this resource with your family, friends and neighbors.
Best wishes as you begin preparing your plan today.
