The Emergency Preparedness Portal

PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY

The Clark County Education Association has long been a proponent of proactive planning for all measures involving safety and security. Over the past year or so, we have seen the brutally destructive force of natural disasters. Although we have no control over these tragic events, we can plan ahead and be ready to deal with their aftermath.

The Clark County Education Association works with our local law enforcement, fire and rescue agencies to plan for emergencies. We are fortunate to have a safety net of dedicated public servants who are always willing to work with our schools on behalf of our students.

Preparedness is something we all need to practice as individuals and as families. The READY-OR-NOT program has compiled, in one easy to use location, an array of web sites that provide resources that can be used in time of emergency. From national resources to first aid tips, this is a comprehensive guide that can be used to develop your own and family plans.
