Being prepared for emergencies is not only a requirement of the State, but is also taken very seriously by all of us at North Hanover Township. We know how important preparedness is to every member of our community. We want this site to be your "go-to" resource for information about our communities. We have worked with federal, state, county, and local agencies to produce school emergency plans and we've been asked many questions about planning for families. This site has been created to help your family be better prepared. The North Hanover Township Ready-or-Not site presents an enormous range of useful and timely information. We urge you, your family, and your friends to browse this site, and to especially take advantage of the Personal & Family Emergency Preparedness Form that is available to you through the "Create Your Plan" link to the right.
As a parent, two of the most important things you can do are to make certain your child's school has up-to-date emergency contact information, and to periodically review with your child alternative arrangements you have made in case an emergency prevents you from being able to be at home. We will continue to support our greater community with programs and services like the North Hanover Township Ready-or-Not plan, and we encourage you to also get involved in community planning. Share this resource with your family, friends and neighbors. We look forward to hearing from you about this new service to our community!
